Expected behavior

Well the error tells you that this part

  [inputs.file.tags]
    bucket = ["mynetdiary"]

of the first file is incorrect, which is completely true! Check your second (working) example where you have

  [inputs.docker.tags]
    bucket = "unompc"

and note the absence of the square brackets. This brackets define a list in TOML and a tag can only take a scalar value and not a list!

thank you @srebhan ! I did not notice it was a scalar in the working file; I must have copied and pasted from the output tagpass assuming the input also was a list. apologies for the non-real-bug filing.
