Repository navigation
v0.4.50
curl -fsSL https://github.com/inkly/CasaOS-Install/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sudo bashRunning it on an existing install upgrades it.
The dashboard points at this distribution
The contact bar at the bottom right keeps two links: the feedback icon opens the issues of inkly/CasaOS, the GitHub icon opens that repository. The Discord link, the in-app feedback form — which collected a title, a description and the debug-info output and built a prefilled issue for IceWhale's repository in a new tab — and the share dialog with its Facebook, Twitter and Reddit buttons are gone. The two Discord invitations left elsewhere, in the smart-home block's "In development" dialog and in the app installer's AutoFill hint, point at the issues now.
No more news feed from the upstream blog
The brand bar fetched an RSS feed from blog-casaos.zimaspace.com and scrolled the latest posts next to the logo, behind a "Show news feed from CasaOS Blog" switch in the settings menu and a consent dialog shown once after the first login. The switch, both dialogs, the setting, the store flag and the RSS dependency are removed; nothing in the dashboard contacts that blog any more. Sixteen locale strings those features alone used leave the 31 language files.
Fixed on the way
- The contact bar's last tooltip was meant to stay inside the window; its CSS rule never matched Buefy's markup. It does now.
Dashboard only, verified with real component mounts and a served build against stubbed APIs in both themes; every other component is where v0.4.49 left it.
Components
CasaOS-UI v0.4.40. CasaOS v0.4.43, AppManagement v0.4.22, UserService v0.4.19, Gateway v0.4.20, MessageBus v0.4.19, LocalStorage v0.4.29 are unchanged. Exact commits in components.lock. The CasaOS and AppManagement packages and the compatibility overlay are verified against digests taken from their own releases; the other components are fetched from their pinned tags without a digest check, as in every release so far.
