Resize window instead of moving it up when making way for the taskbar

I use Magnet to stack windows on top of each other. When making room for the taskbar, Mac Task Bar moves the bottom window up, causing it to overlap with the window above it. To work with stacked windows smoothly, the bottom window should be resized to be a bit shorter instead of moving it up. For what it's worth, resizing is the behaviour of other taskbar apps that I've tried (uBar and lawand's Taskbar).
