Massive leftovers

If new mac VM install is aborted, I am left with massive possibly 10 GB+ GB leftover at /private/var/folders/l0/................/T/restore_bundle_..... per vm. any thoughts? completed installations also seem to create leftovers

These are created by the system components responsible for installing macOS when restore bundles are extracted, not by VirtualBuddy itself. They are in temporary directories so the system will eventually purge those files.
