What problem would this solve?

I would like to be able to open arcade games with either a Mame core, Final Burn or some other emulators.

What would you like Cocoon to do?

It would be nice if we could create a custom platform, add roms folders and choose the cores and emulators that we want to be able to launch the games with. For instance, it would be nice to create an "Arcade" platform, choose the mame and final burn folders for the roms and then be able to choose the mame cores and final burn cores.

What do you do today?

I just open all games with the Mame cores but some games don't run as well.

I agree! I would prefer an overall "Arcade" system, as I mostly have FBNeo ROMs, but there are a couple ROMs I have in my library that only work with MAME. Therefore, would love the option to have a system with both so we can pick & choose which cores we want to use for specific ROMs without having to move them into two separate directories/smart folders.
