Introducing Instill CLI

Bring everything Instill AI has to offer to your command line.




馃摵 Instill CLI can now be installed by brew install instill-ai/tap/inst for Linux and macOS.

With inst, you can simply run:

  • inst auth login to authorize with Instill Cloud or Instill Core for the local CLI session.
  • inst api <endpoint> to start managing your VDP and Model resources in the terminal.
  • inst local deploy to spin up a local Instill Core instance.
  • inst local undeploy to tear down the deployed Instill Core local instance.

From now onwards, each VDP release will have an adjacent CLI update.

Also: updates to Python and TypeScript SDKs

Instill Python SDK and TypeScript SDK are frameworks for incorporating the versatility of VDP pipelines and Instill Model into your own application in Python or TypeScript. We鈥檝e made some small but important improvements to keep up with updates to Instill VDP.
