• A git worktree created inside an already-open project now shows up on the Changes tab after a single refresh — no more switching projects away and back to make it appear.
• The Refresh button tracks real in-flight state (busy/spinner) and ignores repeated clicks until the refresh completes.

• Turn-completed notifications now include the conversation's name, so you can tell at a glance which conversation finished instead of seeing identical "finished responding" messages (long names are truncated).

Sidebar tells "still working" from "needs your input"

• When a conversation pauses waiting on you — a tool permission request or an agent question (AskUserQuestion) — the sidebar now shows a distinct attention icon instead of the generic generating spinner, across the ACP, Codex, and Aion CLI backends.

Appearance: pick your own font family and weight

• Settings → Appearance now lets you choose the typeface across four regions — app, chat, markdown and code — from a searchable list of fonts installed on your machine, plus a matching font-weight control (Light/Regular/Medium/Semibold/Bold, or system default) for each region.

Archived conversations, fully reachable

• The archived conversations list now pages in the rest of each group instead of silently truncating it — a "load more" button reveals older archived chats a page at a time.

Plan bar pinned above the send box

• The agent's plan / to-do snapshot moves out of the message stream into a collapsible bar pinned above the send box, and a bug that could duplicate the plan card while destroying a neighboring message is fixed.

Preview panel: maximize toggle and better tab menu

• The preview panel gains a maximize/restore toggle that hides the chat area and gives the preview the full width; restoring is instant.
• Right-clicking a preview tab no longer opens an invisible off-screen menu, and the menu now includes Close and Close Unmodified actions (with Cmd/Ctrl+W support scoped to the panel).

Slash commands and diagrams

• The slash-command menu in the chat send box now accepts the highlighted command with Tab/Shift+Tab, and a race that could send the raw /command text instead of selecting it on fast typing is fixed.
• Markdown now renders WaveDrom/WaveJSON timing diagrams inline, with the same pan, zoom and click-to-zoom interactions already available for Mermaid diagrams.

Engine updates (AionCore v0.1.71 → v0.1.72)

• Model selection for Claude sessions is now applied the same way the Claude CLI applies it, so the app and the CLI agree on which model is actually running.
• Session JWTs now last 30 days to match the cookie lifetime, avoiding unexpected re-authentication.
• Plan snapshots are now persisted with the conversation so they can be restored later, and archiving a conversation properly tears down its agent process.
• Skill descriptions injected into the agent context are trimmed to fit the injection budget, reducing overhead on startup.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed conversations started from an empty message showing a blank, unclickable title — the title area is now always clickable to rename, even when empty.
• Fixed markdown tables without explicit alignment markers rendering with a centered header above left-aligned body rows; headers now align left like the rest of the table.
• Fixed a case where an unpicked model silently inherited a stale choice from a previous session instead of letting the agent start on its own default.

• Persian (fa-IR) now renders with a full right-to-left layout — mirrored icons, panels, and reading direction across the entire app.
• Numbers, dates, and times now format according to the language you chose inside AionUi, not your OS locale — no more mismatched currency symbols or unexpected date orders.
• Filled in dozens of missing translations across French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and more; component strings in dropdowns and dialogs now render correctly in 11 of 13 supported languages instead of 5.
• Counted text (e.g. "1 file changed") now uses the correct plural form for each language, including Russian and Ukrainian's three-way plural rules.
• Scheduled task titles and file sizes now use locale-aware date and number formats instead of a hardcoded format.

Custom Theming

• Themes can now define a validated set of color tokens for light and dark mode, and a new custom-theme guide walks you through building your own. Try the bundled Neo-Brutalism example under Settings → Appearance.

Markdown Preview: Math Formulas

• Multi-line LaTeX/KaTeX math blocks in the file preview viewer no longer break apart mid-formula — math now renders cleanly in one piece.

Team Mode Improvements

• Added a model-refresh button next to the model picker, so a model switch made elsewhere is reflected immediately in the session.
• Added a runtime-restart control that rebuilds an agent's process to pick up configuration changes while keeping the chat history.
• Team leads can now clear a member's context with /clear, and read all of a member's queued messages together instead of being interrupted one message at a time.
• Team members now get their own bound MCP tools, matching regular sessions.
• A member's selected model now persists, and leads can interrupt a member's current turn and immediately send a new instruction.

Interject Mid-Turn

• You no longer have to wait for the agent to finish before typing. In claude and codex conversations the input box stays usable while a turn is running, and your message shows a delivery-status badge so you know whether it landed. Other backends keep the existing queue panel.

Explorer and Source Control Polish

• The file tree now uses per-type file icons from the catppuccin icon theme, with a light and dark variant so the icons stay legible in both appearances.
• Source Control repo rows are better aligned, and the theme gallery layout is fixed.

Bug Fixes

• The WebUI access address could show an unreachable IP on machines with a VPN or tunnel adapter (e.g. Cloudflare WARP). It now picks your actual LAN address.
• Uploading a file through WebUI could hang at 100% forever, because part of the upload was discarded in a routing race. Fixed.
• Removed a duplicate Explorer collapse control that covered panel content on Windows.

Mark a Conversation Unread

• Right-click any conversation in the sidebar to mark it unread and come back to it later. The unread dot used to be session-only and vanished the moment you opened a conversation, so reading halfway and switching away lost your place. The manual flag persists until you clear it.

Honest Mode Switching

• When you switch an agent's mode mid-conversation and the agent can only apply it on the next turn, the pill now shows the switch as pending instead of instantly claiming it already changed.

Discord as a Chat Channel

• Discord joins Slack as a built-in channel: enter a Bot Token in Settings → Channels, test and enable, then approve pairing requests and manage authorized users.

Links and Diagrams in Preview

• When you select a link in chat or preview, you can now choose to open it in the built-in browser or your system browser. Adjacent auto-linked URLs used to run together, so a plain click often opened the wrong one — now you hand-pick the exact URL.
• Mermaid diagrams in the preview panel can be zoomed, panned, fullscreened, copied and downloaded, instead of being a fixed static image.
• Editable files gain a Save button in the preview toolbar, so saving no longer requires remembering Ctrl/Cmd+S.

Clearer Message When You Downgrade

• Installing an older AionUi over a newer one used to fail with a generic "local data migration failed" dialog telling you to reinstall or contact support. It now says what actually happened and that updating AionUi is the fix.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a crash in the Project Explorer panel when a folder was expanded before its listing arrived.
• Downloading a PDF, DOCX, XLSX or PPTX from the preview tab produced a 0 KB file. Downloads now fetch the real bytes.

• The CLI version-drift notice now actually reaches you, and no longer reads as an error.
