• Setup & Readiness wizard — an opt-in, full-screen guide that helps take a machine toward a working container engine: it detects installed engines and transports (only the ones relevant to your OS are checkable), recommends the right engine per OS — Podman, Docker, or the experimental Apple Container (native Apple-silicon runtime, selectable on macOS only) — sizes a VM when one is needed, and auto-configures volume mounts + file permissions so bind mounts just work (no manual chown). It auto-opens only once, on the first launch after install, and never blocks app startup; reopen it anytime from the header Provision button.
