Ionic is currently using an ancient and unsupported version of gulp-sass.
This is currently causing a significant support load on the gulp-sass and node-sass team.

This also brings iojs and node 4 support when the other broken deps are eventually updated.

confirm ionic version that work with out problem detail below.

node-sass@3.3.3

  • x64
  • Fedora core 22
  • ionic version 1.6.5

Work

  • npm version 1.4.28
  • node version 0.10.36

Problem

  • Node version v4.0.0
  • Npm version 2.14.2
