[BUG] dataplane max node_id

Well to my issue earlier i now downloaded the latest dev branch ran: python3 -m build --wheel
and installed that new whl in my offline device.

But I still get the dataplane error ran out of node_id values #2604

is that known?

Did you change the maximum node ID with defaults.const.MAX_NODE_ID (#2603 (comment))?

FWIW:

• Added a hint in Change the management MAC calculation, fix other large-node-id quirks #2610 to warn the user that the default MAX_NODE_ID has to be increased
• Until Change the management MAC calculation, fix other large-node-id quirks #2610 is merged, you might experience crashes when netlab calculates the management MAC address. The workaround is to specify mgmt.mac attribute for each node (yeah, I know it sucks)

Yeah, the fix is already in review; you can try the mac-256 branch
