Query Visualization Project aims to provide the live query statistics in visual appealing way so that by analyzing these real time statistics, the Database Administrator (DBA) can troubleshoot the poorly performing query. Not only the DBA, but also the developers of the “Stream Processing Engine” can use this project to monitor their algorithms.
- Install golang (https://golang.org/doc/install)
- Clone the project and place it in src folder created during golang installation
- Go to project directory using "cd" command
- Run command "go run main.go" to run the server
- Open browser, go to localhost:4000 (default port)
- Select the first operator (because streaming data will be sent for first operator)
- Execute streaming.sh script(located in "stream" folder) using command "sh streaming.sh" to push new data to server and see real time update
- Alternatively, java file can also be used to send the streaming data located in folder named "stream"
- Dependencies used in java file can be downloaded using "Maven", by adding pom.xml file
