Monk's Scene Navigation

Crowguard edited this page May 27, 2024 · 7 revisions

A Foundry VTT module that improves various aspects of scene navigation.

Usage & Current Features

Active Scene Icon

An icon is added to the currently active scene in the scene directory.

Click to Navigate

Clicking on a scene will now navigate to it instead of opening the configuration dialog.

Individual Permissions

Added permissions to individual Scenes, so you can now set which players have access to which Scenes on a more granular level. Also adds icons to the Scenes in the Scene Directory if the Scene has viewing permissions above the default.

Players can also be given access to view any scenes they have permissions for in the scene directory. Foundry has made this impossible in V12.

Navigation Bar

The scenes are now contained to one line at the top. This makes it easier to plan where to put things on the screen as it won't start expanding across the screen.

The navigation bar will now also use the folder structure set up in the Scenes Directory. So if your adventure has multiple chapters, you can now reduce the number of scenes that are shown while playing. This is only visible to the GM, players will only see available Scenes on one line.

Smaller Directory List

Condenses the scene images within the directory.
