Vision Statement
Pac-Man is a classic 80’s arcade game which is a mind stimulating game for all demographics. This game is primarily useful for kids and teenagers.
PacMan organization’s game is quite well built, but it is not yet ready to be published for consumer use. Because there are certain things that needs to be implemented first.
For example, currently a player can play the game and the score gets saved, but once the game is restarted nothing is saved. Other than the when level is finished, there are no more levels. Basically, playing only one level again and again makes the game boring and uninteresting.
The product owner of Pacman would like to see below features implemented. The requirements are:
- Get user name input and save it.
- Write the high Score and save it
- Make the Pacman continuously move instead of pressing ‘w’ for one move only
- Add more levels By doing these, the owner would be able to get a game which would be complete enough to be published to consumers.
The game contains a red rectangular box acting as its border and there are obstacles acting along the path acting as a maze. There is a yellow face with a mouth open which will move according to the user input, there are yellow circles around the maze where once the yellow face passes through the yellow circle points are obtained.
PacMan Organization would like to have this game completed within two months of working days. They also have a limited budget of 2500$. The stakeholder’s goals would be to make the game as famous as possible and make it consistent and handle errors efficiently. We can visualize their need with the business process diagram
