Wireframe spec

Hana's Figma wireframe shows dropdown menu components for all 6 sections:

  • Home
  • Interactive Explorer
  • How to Use (dropdown: Overview, Deep-Dive Analysis, 3D Globe Visualization, Search Explorer, Technical: Narrow vs Wide)
  • About (dropdown: Objectives, PIs and Contributors, Photo Gallery, Background & History)
  • Architecture & Vocabularies (dropdown: Overview, Requirements, Schema, Vocabularies)
  • Research & Resources (dropdown: Publications & Conferences, Zenodo Community, Github Repositories)

Current state

The top navbar only has 4 items: Home, Interactive Explorer, How to Use, About. Architecture & Vocabularies and Research & Resources are sidebar-only — users must scroll/navigate the sidebar to find them.

Proposed change

Add Architecture & Vocabularies and Research & Resources as top navbar items with dropdown menus, matching the wireframe's 6-item layout. Quarto supports menu: children on navbar items for dropdowns.

Analysis from Figma API scan of wireframe components [151:933] and [130:161].
