Summary

  • Adds top navbar matching isamples.org with logo, favicon, and all navigation items
  • "Metadata Model" under Architecture & Vocabularies dropdown links to this site's own index page; all other links navigate back to the main isamples.org site
  • Updates footer to match main site format (copyright 2020-2026, two-column layout)
  • Removes stale hyde.cyverse.org link from sidebar tools

Context

The metadata site at isamples.org/metadata/ currently has no top navbar — visitors lose the main site's navigation when they click through. This brings it into visual consistency with the main site so users can navigate back easily.

Test plan

  • Local Quarto render succeeds with navbar, logo, favicon, and updated footer
  • Visual screenshot verified — navbar matches main site layout
  • No other consumers depend on the site's HTML structure (all references are standard links)
  • CI build on merge should auto-deploy to gh-pages

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- Add top navbar with all main site navigation items, logo, and favicon
- "Metadata Model" in Architecture dropdown links to this site's index
- All other navbar links point back to isamples.org main site pages
- Update footer to match main site (copyright 2020-2026, split layout)
- Remove stale hyde.cyverse.org link from sidebar tools
