Firmware 13.0 / PS5 (slim/discdrive)

0.5.2 -> working 🎉 (rebooted a couple times, working most time w/o issues 👍🏻 THX)
0.5.1 -> crashed console
0.5 -> crashed console

Connected to WiFi & Internet blocked in the Router.

Coldboot/Reboot/Standby -> worked every time, no crashes so far wit 0.5.2

UPDATE: first freeze after cold boot, then booting issue....

UPDATE2: Yesterday 15x success and one crash - today three crashes in a row and can't jailbreak.

UPDATE3: Switched to the newest "-kp" Version, its running now good and it "fells" faster.

Given that the PS5 WebKit exploit is so unstable, why not enable or update BD-JB?I have a Blu-ray burner, and I think burning a Blu-ray disc directly is the best approach; after all, the BD-JB loader runs very smoothly on version 12.0.
I hope you might consider my humble suggestion.

Even with the new version 0.5.2, my PS5 (Model 12, System Version 13.20) still freezes; the white light flashes, and it won't shut down normally, forcing me to cut the power.
I would like to earnestly request once again that you consider BD JB.

Hi I was getting freezes with relapse on 9.6, this latest release freezes as well. I tried cleaning out the folders in webkit installing twice but no success in this release. It would not work at all, freezing half way through the chain.

It was quicker in the last release when it did work. I have installed poops again for now, just thought I'd report my findings.

On 11.40. I have tried 0.5.2 several times and it does attempt to do the jailbreak but it always comes up with static on the screen and then immediate shutdown...I have no idea why poopsploit does not work for me. I hope there are others on 11.40 who can chime in and say whether this worked for them or not. Anyways, I appreciate all your efforts to try and get this working. I know this stuff can be complicated...

I did the y2jb -> p2jb -> bdunpatch a while back so that is my main jailbreak method.

On PS5 FW 13.00 : i launch RELAPSE and Jalilbreak, then i send Webkit 0.5.2 = impossible to launch game and app CE-105773-3
or Error Autlo Failed : Already jailbroken - Autoload failed.

Do you have a solution ?

2. On PS5 Pro FW 13.00:
   a. installed WebKit Autoloader v0.5.2
   b. after 3 tries was not able to succeed in jailbreaking - 2 times failed at AIO groups check, 1 time after it at kernel step. each time had to hard restart the console

I have the same problem on 13.6 ps5 pro, can't progress AIO stage. Should be fine for going normal again if I just delete WebKit autoloader or there are any extra step?

I tried switching to version 13.60 via Safe Mode and installing using a USB drive, but I'm getting error SU-101608-6 (unable to access the drive/file: PS5/UPDATE/PS5UPDATE.PUP).
If anyone has managed to do this and has any tips, I’d love to hear them. Thanks, everyone!

Has anyone managed to perform a firmware update from Safe Mode? I haven't been able to do it myself. Any help would be appreciated.

you need recovery firmware file.

Webkit exploit (the userland part) is very stable. It's relapse (kernel exploit) not being stable.

Not sure if anyone's interested in porting relapse to y2jb when there's webkit. But if someone will do it, of course I'll include it in the autoloader.

Its very good idea and maybe now y2jb will Works with .pkg after reboot.

Hi, dev of the relapse y2jb port here, I'm trying my best to get it to stop crashing but I haven't been able to solve it so far, so it might take a while. I'll open an issue for it and hope for external help also in the meantime.

Great job on that.
Not sure if that's related but as far as I remember, p2jb for y2jb had similar issue with closing yt app causing KP.

Here's a commit that could've been the solution but as I said, it might not be related to your issue.

FW 13.42 the eta-hen build isnt detected by itemzflow and when in debug menu every time i open a menu it says "something went wrong" but then just enters the menu

I don't know if it is a bug or I am doing something wrong. Every how-to and video I have seen thus far, pldmgr gets loaded from fresh(?) install.

However, I have tried the python script and the exe. but both my PS5 and Pro will NOT load the pldmgr. Matter a fact, i HAVE to have a USB (exFAT) with a ps5_autoloader folder with the pldmgr.elf in there in order it to work, otherwise I only get the webkit tool in the menu.

both my PS5 and Pro is on 13.6

Python script (or exe) is used to host a jailbreak that just installs the shortcut on the home screen.
After rebooting, you don't need the host app anymore and you just use the home screen shortcut which loads pldmgr or anything you'll configure.

12.02 it works fine if i enable wifi (with a dns 45.56.67.85), no issue at all.
if i disable wifi, it just stucks at "no interface has an address" step everytime.
what am I doing wrong?

Relapse requires any active network interface. Doesn't matter if it has internet connection or what dns you'll use.

I have console Shutdown everytime in fw 12.70.
I dont run any payloads, just run webkit autoloader and after 1~2 min console will shutdown
