🔧 Changed

  • Guided mode no longer clamps to the margin thresholds. For some
    instrument/paper combos (notably i1Pro · A4 portrait) the jig thresholds
    dominated the layout, so Suppress left clip border and Don't limit strip
    length     changed the chart but not the patch count. Guided now behaves like
    before the threshold feature — those toggles affect the count again, and the
    layout matches printtarg's default reserves. The custom Margin-Thresholds
    safety still applies in Manual mode with Use instrument margins on.

Installation: Open the DMG, drag ChromIQ to Applications, eject, then launch.

ChromIQ is ad-hoc signed (not notarized). On macOS Sonoma+ the right-click → Open trick often fails with "Apple cannot check it for malicious software." If that happens, remove the quarantine flag in Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ChromIQ.app

Then double-click as normal.

Requires macOS 12+ and ArgyllCMS 3.5.0 at /Applications/Argyll/bin.
