AM Dash – Chrome Extension Installation Guide

AM Dash is a Chrome extension distributed as a ZIP file.
Follow the steps below to install it manually in Google Chrome.

📦 Download

• Download the file: AM-Dash.zip from this repository.

🛠 How to Install AM Dash in Chrome

1️⃣ Extract the ZIP file

1. Right-click on AM-Dash.zip
2. Click Extract All (Windows) or Extract (Mac/Linux)
3. You should get a folder containing the extension files

⚠️ Chrome cannot load extensions directly from ZIP files.
You must extract it first.

2️⃣ Open Chrome Extensions Page

1. Open Google Chrome
2. In the address bar, go to:

   chrome://extensions
   

3. Press Enter

3️⃣ Enable Developer Mode

• Toggle Developer mode ON (top-right corner)

4️⃣ Load AM Dash

1. Click Load unpacked
2. Select the extracted AM Dash folder
3. Click Select Folder

✅ AM Dash is now installed!

🧩 Using AM Dash

• Click the Extensions (🧩) icon in Chrome
• Pin AM Dash for quick access

---

🔄 Updating AM Dash

1. Remove the old version from chrome://extensions
2. Download the new ZIP file
3. Extract it
4. Load it again using Load unpacked

❗ Troubleshooting

• Manifest error: Ensure manifest.json is inside the selected folder
• Load unpacked disabled: Make sure Developer Mode is ON
• Extension not visible: Pin it from the 🧩 menu
