Hi, I'm Muhammad Fadil πŸ‘‹

Information Systems Student β€’ Full-Stack Developer β€’ AI Enthusiast β€’ Indie Developer

✨ About Me

Information Systems student from East Kalimantan, Indonesia β€” building products that solve problems I personally experience, from daily utility apps to developer tools and AI-powered applications.

Most of my projects start with a simple thought:

"This problem is annoying. Why don't I just build something for it?"

If you have a problem worth solving, let's talk.

πŸ—ΊοΈ My Journey

My projects aren't random β€” they follow a clear evolution, each starting from a problem I personally lived with.

It started with frontend basics and small practice projects β€” building the foundation before going fullstack.

Phase 1: The Learning & Utility Phase

Started as a fullstack learning playground. Midway through, I realized I kept opening random sites for Adhan schedules and wanted a Quran web that actually felt clean to use β€” so I built one.

  • Mufadz Portal β€” A learning project that grew into a personal Islamic app with prayer schedules, a clean Quran reader, and other features that ended up genuinely useful.

Phase 2: Solving My Own Problems

I analyzed my daily habits and built apps to replace messy workarounds like storing notes and workout logs in WhatsApp.

  • Chatme β€” Chat-based notes and reminders app, built to replace the habit of texting myself on WhatsApp.
  • Dailyfit β€” Personal workout tracker built to replace random WhatsApp logs with structured plans, exercise catalogs, and progress tracking.

Phase 3: Engineering for the Developer Community (now)

Shifted focus to broader pain points β€” developer productivity, knowledge management, and AI-era codebase navigation.

  • DevNote β€” Centralized knowledge platform to store and reuse snippets, files, and resources, with team workspaces and a VS Code Extension.
  • DevMap β€” CLI tool that maps an entire codebase in minutes using static analysis and AI, with onboarding features and LLM context building.

Hackathon & Rapid Prototyping

  • De Home Spa β€” Built under a tight hackathon deadline, where speed and teamwork were everything. Learned to scope fast, divide work effectively, and ship together under pressure.

🎯 Goals

  • Build useful software that solves real problems and is used by people around the world.
  • Create an ecosystem of open-source tools that developers genuinely enjoy using.
  • Achieve financial freedom.
  • Slow life in a small village.
  • Become a penghuni surga.

🌱 Currently Learning

  • Deep Backend Concepts (with Laravel, Express, Elysia)
  • AI Integration & LLM Applications
  • Monorepo Architecture
  • VS Code Extension Development
  • CLI Tool Development
  • Product Engineering
