If you're upgrading from an older release of ArcadeEssentials, make sure to replace your assets and data_dx folders with the ones provided in release.7z. This is required for glyph switching, language selection, and UI scaling to work properly. If not replaced, you may see "img" missing texture placeholders and broken button prompts.
Note: data_dx is only required for non-English dialogue. If you're low on storage space and only need English, you can skip copying it.
Note that you will need Pentane installed and properly configured to install ArcadeEssentials. Full installation and setup tutorials for both Pentane and ArcadeEssentials can be found on the high-octane-dev organization website.
