Changing to an older image tag won't make a difference since lil you said, Minecraft server crashes have nothing to do with the image or docker. FYI though https://docker-minecraft-server.readthedocs.io/en/latest/versions/java/#image-tags It looks like the server lagged so much that the watchdog killed it. Can you provide your container config, like compose file, and can see what suggestions from that? |

Hello,
I'm running a minecraft java server based on the simple docker compose example on an ubuntu server.
Since an image update few weeks ago, the server is just lagging and crashing.
I'm pretty sure, this is not related to your provided docker image, but maybe someone has an idea in which direction I need to dig to get this solved? (Kids are complaining already ;)
Alternatively: is switching back to an older tag possible, or is the server data now migrated to a non backward compatible content?
Thanks in advance!
