These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.
What things you need to install the software and how to install them Apache Server(XAMPP,WAMP,MAMP ETC) MYSQL database Android Studio
Download or Clone the repo
Copy 'hoax' folder to htdocs and run apache server Create a database 'hoax' and import database.sql file
For android, import the android app, important Goto URLS.java and change the ROOT_URL IP to your local ip. eg. 127.0.0.1/hoax/
Start the Hoaxify app
There will be list of already existing hoaxes. You may tap on it and read more about it. Once you tap it, you can upvote, downvote or flag the post as well as comments to contribute the community. You can even give your opinion about the hoax.
There is a icon at right bottom, once you tap it the system will ask you for a text message. When you enter the message and tap on search it will perform an operation in the background. if the hoax exists in the background it will take you to the hoax where you can read the comments. else it creates a new hoax which will reflect to all the user in the community who will give their valueable comments.
What is Flag? Whenever user uploads an inappropiate message such as trolls, explicitly material, etc. Other users can flag it. Admin & Moderators can review these posts/comments and delete it.
