A list of platforms that I have used to polish my coding skills.
- CodeAcademy: I have linked their catalog of courses. Take advantage of their 7-day trial for PRO.
- Code Club: They have some fun Python projects in creating games or animations.
- DataCamp: I used DataCamp for their guided projects and practice quizzes. Take advantage of their free week, which are notified through their social media.
- Flatiron School: I've started their Coding Bootcamp prep, but have not finished. They offer Coding Bootcamp Prep, Data Science Bootcamp Prep, Intro to Ruby, and Intro to JavaScript.
- FreeCodeCamp: FreeCodeCamp offers 8000+ tutorials and free certifications
- HackerRank: I have enjoyed their SQL and Problem Solving challenges. Other challenages are listed on their Dashboard
- Kaggle Learn: Each course contain tutorials and exercises for practical skill development in data science
- Learn-Perl.org: Learn Perl through the browser. Other languages to learn include: Python, Java, HTML, Go, C, C++, JavaScript, PHP, Shell, C#, Ruby, Scala, and SQL.
- LeetCode: Similar to HackerRank. There are contests and interview practice.
- Postman: Learn API using Postman's tutorials
- PyBites: For practicing Python 3. Not all challenges are free, but you do get certificates called "belts" depending on how many of them that you have completed.
- SQLZOO: For learning and practicing SQL.
- Udacity: I have completed one of their nanodegree programs and tried a couple of their free courses.
