Turbo Pascal 7.0 was released on 1992 October 27. One of the key changes from version 6.0 was support to make wither DOS or Windows executables and Windows DLLs.
The Boreland Software Corporation existed from 1983 to 2015 April 5. Boreland was acquired by Micro Focus (Micro Focus was acquired by OpenText in 2022 August)
