Looking into the proper way to send messages with Signal.
Conversation activity, line 1713 sendMessage(). Method delegating responsibility for sending all different kinds of messages in the ConversationActivity.

Depending on what kind of message we want emoji attachments to be, there are the sendTextMessage() 1805 & sendMediaMessage() 1752 that can be used as templates for sending reactions.

In the ConversationFragment, methods stageOutgoingMessage() 530 & 542, and releaseOutgoingMessage() 554 deal with staging and releasing messages that are being sent. This may be useful to us, however they may be only used for written text messages.

org.thoughtcrime.securesms.sms.MessageSender is a central class in the sms package that handles sending messages. Used to send both SMS and Media messages. It seems this class touches the database for encrypted messages. We should think of whether or not we want to allow sending emoji reactions through secure sms only or not.
