A multi-model simulation that demonstrates the effects of CO2 and temperature changes on marine ecosystems. This project consists of three interconnected NetLogo models:
- Climate Change.nlogo - Simulates atmospheric CO2 and temperature dynamics
- planktonTurtles.nlogo - Models marine plankton behavior
- Proyecto_G4.nlogo - Main controller that coordinates the other models
- Real-time visualization of CO2 particles and temperature changes
- Interactive simulation of greenhouse effect
- Marine ecosystem response to climate changes
- pH level changes in ocean water based on CO2 levels
- Simulates sunlight rays, infrared radiation, and CO2 molecules
- Tracks global temperature changes
- Visualizes atmospheric layers (space, sky, earth surface)
- Monitors plankton population dynamics
- Simulates effects of temperature and pH changes on marine life
- Click the "setup" button to initialize the simulation
- Use the "go" button to run the simulation continuously
- Observe how increasing CO2 levels affect temperature and marine ecosystems
- NetLogo 6.0 or higher
- LevelSpace extension (
ls) for model coordination
- Install NetLogo
- Load the main model:
Proyecto_G4.nlogo - Ensure all three .nlogo files are in the same directory
