Motivation

  • Provide a focused, repo-native explanation of “where” Minimum Intelligence actually lives, clarifying runtime, memory, identity, authority, installation, collaboration, and trust.
  • Complement existing narrative files (THE-REPO-IS-THE-MIND.md and README.md) with a standalone, structured essay that answers the question for readers and maintainers.

Description

  • Add a new documentation file QUESTION-WHERE.md at the repository root containing a long-form analysis of the agent’s location semantics across runtime, memory, identity, authority, installation, collaboration, and trust.
  • This is a documentation-only change and does not modify executable code, workflows, or runtime behavior.
  • The essay is organized with sectional headings and a concise “Final answer” synthesis that maps concepts to concrete repo artifacts (issues, Actions, checked-in markdown, git state, commits, and permissions).

Testing

  • Ran wc -l QUESTION-WHERE.md to confirm the file was created and has the expected length, which succeeded.
  • Previewed the file head with sed -n '1,20p' QUESTION-WHERE.md to validate content formatting, which succeeded.
  • Verified repository working-tree status with git status --short to ensure the change was staged/recorded, which succeeded.
