Commercial Licensing

Orin Commercial License

Orin is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPLv3).
That license is perfect for open‑source and internal use.

However, if you want to embed Orin into a proprietary product (i.e., distribute it as part of a closed‑source application), you must purchase a commercial license.

What the Commercial License Grants

  • The right to use, modify, and distribute Orin without releasing your source code.
  • No AGPL‑3.0 obligations.
  • Perpetual license (one‑time fee) or annual subscription (depending on terms).

Pricing

  • Single Product Integration – $10,000 one‑time
Embed Orin in one proprietary product, unlimited distribution.
  • Enterprise License – $30,000/year
Embed Orin across all products and services within your organisation.

Prices are negotiable for startups and academic projects.

How to Purchase

Email me at jaradat.musa@gmail.com with:

  • Your company name
  • The product(s) you intend to integrate
  • Expected distribution volume

I will send you a formal quote and a commercial license agreement.

Note: This license is separate from the AGPLv3. The AGPLv3 still applies to any unmodified Orin code you distribute without a commercial agreement.
