We are thrilled to share that our project, Mass-Passport, secured a spot in the top 3 finalists in the MIT Policy Hackathon 2023 Challenge: "Access to Equitable Healthcare". Our focus is on enhancing healthcare access for newcomers in Massachusetts by addressing immigration challenges and overcoming system constraints. We propose a comprehensive approach that combines education, technology, and policy recommendations to create a more inclusive and efficient healthcare system.
Our main technical solution is the Mass-Passport app, a QR-code based medical record system that integrates to popular ERMs, installs immediate AI translation, and provides readily available health sheet.
