2.1 Requirements

  • Java Development Kit (JDK) installation. Oracle and OpenJDK 8, 9 and 10 are currently verified to work, Java 11 does not
  • Working and stable internet connection
  • If you are behind a proxy, make sure that your instance of java can pass it. The FAQ includes some hints on proxy settings.
  • An account to download the required RTC files
  • Depending on how many different versions of the sdk you want to run, jazz development environment can take up considerable amounts of hard drive space. Make sure you have enough free space to accommodate your needs. A single setup will run at about 5GB.
