can't run the script from the IntelliJ terminal

Because the IntelliJ project is a different directory to the one the actual script lives in, I can't use the IntelliJ terminal to run jbang, I have to switch back to my regular terminal.

Now, this doesn't annoy me so much, since the IntelliJ terminal is surprisingly bad, but it would be nice if it were fixable.

Could you perhaps give a little more information on what exactly you are doing? What jbang are you trying to execute? (how did you install it? did you install it?). Does the project you have open matter? Etc. (Just trying to reproduce)

I use that in my demos so would need some steps to reproduce it not working ?

1. from my working directory I type idea `jbang edit test.java`
2. In IntelliJ I open the terminal and type j! test.java.

But is that a problem with Jbang or IntelliJ? What folder is the terminal in?

Well the terminal opens in the project folder of course. And that's the problem I think: it seems that jbang can't detect that it's running in a project folder and adjust appropriately.

the temporary project has a layout to become "IDE friendly", try run j! src/test.java

Ah OK. Sure that makes sense. Or just src/test.java works as well.

So then I wonder if the jbang command could be polite enough to search for scripts in the src folder. But if you strongly object to that I will close this issue.
