v1.5.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 16 Oct 04:52
Release 1.5.0: mux print --permission-prompt-tool

An MCP tool approves or denies tool calls under the ask policy, with the
contract of Claude Code's --permission-prompt-tool, so headless runs (such
as Armada's Approve in Armada) can ask a person. Errors, timeouts, and
unreadable answers deny the call; a denial's message reaches the model.
Adds --permission-prompt-timeout and --auto-approve-tools, per-call MCP
timeouts, and glob patterns in the AutoSafe allowlist.

v1.3.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 10 Oct 18:23
Release 1.3.0: headless run outcome fixes from the Garrison integration

- An endpoint value (apiKey, headers, apiVersion, project, region) that
  references an unset environment variable now fails before any request,
  naming the variable. print reports it as error code
  config_unresolved_env; probe uses the same code; LlmClient refuses to
  send it from every other surface.
- A run that ends on a model error (or a context limit compaction cannot
  get under) has status failed instead of completed_with_errors, which
  now means the model answered but something failed along the way. mux
  serve maps these runs to failed. docs/USAGE.md lists every status with
  its exit code.
- run_completed.usage adds cachedTokens, reasoningTokens, and costUsd
  (from pricing.json, omitted for unpriced models).
- run_started adds contextWindowSource (endpoint, cli, default) and
  mcp.enabled (supported kept as an alias for one release). New
  --context-window flag.
- Release packaging: pushes whose secret is unset are skipped instead of
  failing the run; a missing optional tool (wingetcreate) no longer
  stops the Windows job; the CLI's own archives contain mux, not
  Mux.Cli; desktop archives are named mux-desktop-* so they stop
  overwriting the CLI archive; a new cli-archive channel ships
  self-contained Linux CLI tarballs.

Version 1.2.0 -> 1.3.0 (the VS Code extension is unchanged).
