Anyone solved distributing across an org when using an internal or shared config?

If you have a private/internal org repo, I'd love to hear how you are handling setting up many repos.
Auth is not supported for pkl, so I've run into the challenge of wanting to create a private standardized config for a mix of different systems but other than vendir or equivalent tooling, i don't know of anyway to seamlessly import those so I could centralize my configs.

Any creative solutions you've come up with?

Is header auth + netrc an option?

I did a bunch of claude research before this and asked because what I got was a lot of concensus on issues with doing any type of auth. I wanted something that would be straight forward for folks.

In apple/pkl#568, a user tried .netrc with Pkl's proxy and confirmed it had no effect GitHub.

Seems a few items are mentioned with updates though:
