I'm a software engineer with 20 years of experience building systems, and the last year has been spent deep in AI-assisted development.
I build AI-powered tools, systematize the workflows around them, and teach others how to do the same. That's the thread connecting everything I work on: build, systematize, teach.
What I'm working on:
-
SonicForge — A browser-based music composition workbench where Claude generates structured compositions and a TypeScript engine renders them in real time. Built as a demonstration of AI-assisted full-stack development.
-
Localhost — A local dashboard that discovers and manages every dev server on your machine. Zero config — just open a tab and see what's running.
-
Forge (private) — An AI meta-generator that plans entire applications through the full SDLC and exports AI-enabled development environments. It's how I build everything else.
Background:
I spent 8 years in engineering management before returning to IC work, which gave me an unusual combination of systems thinking and hands-on engineering depth. I designed and delivered a 6-week LLM development course to 500+ engineers that became standard onboarding material for all new hires.
I'm currently on the frontier of AI-assisted development — not just using the tools, but building the systems that make them effective at scale.
