Preview By Default

I've used RN for probably 15 years and I have never seen entries properly formatted because every day no matter how old is in edit mode when I view it because I'm not going to click preview when I'm trying to find something. When we are using RN we are in edit mode obviously. It would make sense to have all days not currently being edited to be in preview mode by default so that's it's more pleasant and easier to use them when looking back for some purpose. And maybe in addition to this, the current day should be in edit mode by default. Scenario: you are working on the current day's entry, you want to review a relevant entry from a prior day, you find it and it is in preview mode (easier and more pleasant to read) and then you return to the present day which is in edit mode so you don't have to switch it back.
