Setting default column_search_filter

We added the following column_search_filter to multiple models. Is there a way to set a default search_filter for all models instead of adding it to each model individually?

column_search_filter do |ds, column, value|
  case column
  when :created_at
    column_grep.call(ds, :created_at, value)
  when :project
    ubid_uuid_grep.call(ds, :project_id, value)
  end

Yes, column_search_filter exists in framework context in addition to model context. When called with a block in framework context, it is passed the model as the first argument.

Good to know. Can we mix them so that if a column doesn’t exist in model.column_search_filter, it falls back to framework.column_search_filter? It looks like it doesn’t do that currently.

Correct. There isn't a currently way to fallback. Changing the default behavior to fallback would not be backwards compatible, but we could allow for such a behavior via a new configuration setting.
