Jerusalem Science Museum — Kiosk Setup Wiki

This wiki explains how to set up and maintain the kiosk computers that run exhibits at the Jerusalem Science Museum. It is written for the museum's engineering team — no deep software experience required.

Setting Up a New Kiosk

Follow these steps in order:

1. Installing Mint — Install Linux Mint on the computer
2. Kiosk Base Setup — Run the base setup script to install common software and configure kiosk behavior
3. Set up the exhibit — Clone the exhibit's GitHub repo and run its own setup.sh. See Various Individual Exhibits for details.
