Choose a tag to compare

One-click install for Claude Desktop's regular chat:

  1. Download puredata-mcp.mcpb below.
  2. Double-click it (or open Claude Desktop → Settings → Extensions → Install from file).
  3. Set PD_HOST (default 127.0.0.1) and PD_PORT (default 3000) in the install dialog.
  4. Open pd/mcp_host.pd in Pure Data and keep it running.

for prerequisites (Pd >= 0.51, plus Pd 0.56 / py4pd / Python 3.14
if you want the Python-object tools).
