This release is not marked as the repository latest release because releases/latest remains reserved for the Android latest backup asset.

macOS distribution mode: unsigned.

For the default open-source unsigned mode, the macOS app is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. macOS Gatekeeper may require users to use Control-click / Open or System Settings / Privacy & Security / Open Anyway on first launch after verifying SHA256. Use signed-notarized only when Apple Developer ID secrets are available. Windows code signing and installer packaging are reserved for the next desktop packaging step; the current Windows asset is a portable zip.
