KyoubeAI 1.0.0
The first release of KyoubeAI, an AI operating system for organisations to create AI employees and AI-native apps in a multiplayer, collaborative environment. You run it on your own server.
What's in 1.0.0
- The whole stack is one Docker Compose project:
docker compose up -dstarts the app and a Postgres 17 database, on amd64 or arm64. - AI employees work through one of three pre-installed harnesses (Claude Code, pi or Hermes Agent), using your own Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter keys or a subscription signed in from the browser.
- Each company gets its own PostgreSQL schema that people and agents design and fill. Access has four levels (none, read, write, schema), and every change is audited.
- Agents build and publish single-file apps on the company's data. An app has no network access and can never exceed the permissions of the person using it.
- Each project's working folder opens in the browser, and owners and admins get a terminal for signing in the harnesses.
- Studio is KyoubeAI's own design: dark by default, with a live roster of your agents.
- For running it, there are backup and restore scripts, plugins that upgrade themselves on start, and
kyoube doctorfor health checks.
