Hello
Yes this option is very often a bad idea. The internal is too wrong to be usable. The only think that will work is to use the "self-regulation" as describe here: https://github.com/jmcollin78/versatile_thermostat/blob/main/documentation/en/self-regulation.md
If you need to continue please post your custom attributes as described here: https://github.com/jmcollin78/versatile_thermostat/blob/main/documentation/en/reference.md#custom-attributes |

I'm afraid I can't get it to work.
Let me try to sketch it out.
And that's how I get overshoot, or I don't get warm enough.
If I understand the "Use internal temperature of the underlying" option correctly, it should set the air conditioner to a setting based on the internal temperature of the air conditioner?
But by enabling this option, I get a serious overshoot, up to 1.7°C.
If I disable this feature, then it don't get warm enough.
Another strange thing:

When the set temperature is 20°C, and the temperature in the room is 17,9°C, shouldn't it start to heat?
And why does the AC start in cooling mode if I toggle the versatile thermostat? The airco was heating when I toggled it to off, so I would expect that a new toggle should start with heating again?
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or share his working settings?
I maybe also have to mention that is have set the "self-regulation" to light....
