Greenflame v0.6.0
Greenflame v0.6.0 adds Ellipse and Filled-Ellipse annotation tools, a tray menu shortcut to open the config file, cursor previews for several tools, and highlighter improvements.
Added
- Ellipse annotation tool (hotkey
E) and Filled-Ellipse annotation tool (hotkeyShift+E): draw ellipses and filled ellipses on the overlay. - Open config file from tray menu: the tray context menu now includes a shortcut to open the config file directly.
- Cursor previews: arrow, text, and rectangle annotation tools now show a cursor preview reflecting the current tool and size.
Changed
- Highlighter: now uses multiply blend mode with 35% default opacity; supports pause-to-straighten and straight-bar endpoint editing.
- Per-tool independent size steps: each annotation tool stores and persists its own size step independently.
- Esc during annotation gesture: cancels the in-progress stroke but keeps the tool armed for the next stroke.
- Arrow tool: outline is hidden while drawing to reduce visual noise; finished arrows show an outline.
- Toolbar tooltips: hotkeys are now shown in parentheses.
- Coordinate tooltip: now fully opaque with a 12pt dim font.
- Hotkeys: filled-rectangle is
Shift+R; filled-ellipse isShift+E. - Bubble: now appears on mousedown and can be dragged before release; icon updated.
- Help screen: updated to reflect current tools and hotkeys.
- Config file: format reverted to JSON.
Fixed
- Empty line and empty rectangle strokes no longer produce an annotation.
- Brush and highlight strokes now appear immediately on the first mousedown.
- Selection border is drawn as 4 separate lines, eliminating the marching-ants effect.
