The issue with Word files is now resolved, at least for the most part. However, there may still be problems because the Microsoft Word app has an internal security policy that prevents opening read-write files from external sources. Collabora, on the other hand, handles this without any issues.

For opening compressed files in the network storage doesn't work, recomended open them in internal storage

Creating .txt file isn't possible to do in restricted directory, e.g. android/data. For getting around that, make new .txt file inside internal memory and then move it to restricted folder
