Update Expo Go APK and verify app runs correctly

The Expo Go APK needs to be updated to the latest version. After updating, run through the app to confirm it loads and core features work as expected.

Tasks:

• Download/update the Expo Go APK
• Install and test on device
• Verify core features (notes, tags, dashboard) are functional

Implementation Plan

Manual QA task. The existing mobile app is in packages/mobile/ (Expo + React Navigation).

How to get/update the APK

cd packages/mobile
npx eas build --platform android --profile preview --local
# or pull latest from EAS dashboard if a cloud build was triggered

Alternatively, if testing with Expo Go (not a standalone APK), update Expo Go from the Play Store, then run:

npx expo start

and scan the QR code.

Test checklist

• App loads without crash
• Login with a test account
• Notes list loads and displays correctly
• Create a new note
• Add/remove a tag
• Dashboard loads
• Logout and re-login
• Test on Android (real device or emulator)

Notes

• The mobile app talks to the live VPS API (notes-world.christopherrehm.de) — ensure the VPS is up before testing
• If Expo Go is being used (not standalone APK), note that the final release should be a standalone APK built with EAS, not Expo Go
• If any screen fails, open a specific bug ticket rather than keeping it here

Complexity: 30–60 min manual testing. No code changes unless bugs found.
