In groups of (see teacher for group size), your task is to create a skit that involves an ethical issue (chosen from below) and legal repercussions related to it. The issues need to revolve around computing technologies. Ensure your skit clearly shows:

  • The ethical issue
  • How to resolve it
  • Any alternatives/safeguards that you could use to protect against such issues in the future
  • Any legal repercussions that could occur

You will present your skit to the class and it must be between 5 and 10 minutes in length. Ensure your skit is safe for everyone to participate in and to view.

Ethical Topic(s)

See your teacher for topic choices and group sizes. Each group will need to have a different topic. Below are some sample topics:

  • Music and video file downloading
  • Spyware
  • Identity theft
  • Phishing
  • Keystroke logging
  • Packet sniffing
  • Biometric data
  • Effective passwords
  • Firewalls
