Windows

1. Get HackMe-Setup-0.1.0-rc17.2.exe from downloads
2. Verify SHA256 on the same page
3. Install → run HackMe Miner from the Start menu (pool URL is preconfigured)
4. Keep the window open — watchdog restarts the worker after GPU hiccups
5. Open http://127.0.0.1:8080 and confirm your worker row / hashrate

Portable ZIP: download → extract → open the windows folder → run start_hackme_miner.bat (SmartScreen → More info → Run anyway).

AMD RX 580: installer prefers OpenCL (workerpoh-opencl) when present.

Option A — tarball

GPU backend auto-detects: cuda → opencl → cpu. Override with HACKME_GPU_BACKEND=cuda if needed.

HackMe OS (live USB)

1. Download ISO + SHA256SUMS-iso.txt
2. Verify hash, flash USB (Etcher / dd)
3. Boot the HackMe OS GRUB entry
4. On-screen wallet HMC-… + mining against hackme.tech

Payouts (short)

• Addresses look like HMC- + 16 hex
• Accrual is tracked on the coordinator; settlement maps WORKER_ID → wallet (see network docs)
