Add "Gravis GrIP" emulation on modern controllers for supported games

I remember that there were late DOS games (just before they abandon producing them in favor of the newer Windows games at the time) have support for the special GrIP controllers by Gravis (with completely different internal designs than the regular PC controllers w up to 4 buttons at the time). Perhaps for the DOSBox-X emulator, you could add this GrIP emulation to be used on the current modern controllers to be used on these GrIP supported games. Can that be possible?
