Support tracking budgets without using placeholder transactions #19
Description
Using placeholder transactions makes it difficult to know your financial situation mid-month. You don't know how much of the placeholder transaction is remaining. Also, because placeholder transactions are deleted, you cannot easily know how much you allocated for prior months.
It would be helpful to have a different method of tracking how much funds have been spent and allocated.
Some considerations:
- The allocated budget may differ between months.
- Should be able to schedule a future transaction to deduct from the allocated budget.
- Add a page to track the allocated budgets.
- Sometime transactions shouldn't deduct from budget. eg, you might budget for car fuel, but then have regular maintenance that you predict. You don't need to increase the budget whenever there is car maintenance, but it does need to be accounted for.
- Each months budget needs to be kept for all time to allow transactions to be uncommitted.
