Menu Bar Layout option is blank

Hi guys, i'm curious to know if anyone else encountered this problem, I'm not sure if I'm getting this right, in the Menu Bar Layout, I'm not seeing anything in the Visible, Hidden and Always-Hidden Sections, is this expected? I've also tried dragging icons from the menu bar into this and it doesn't do anything either apart from the icon being removed from the actual menu bar.

FWIW, I am seeing the same issue: I cannot see any items on the Menu Bar Layout options screen. I have tried quitting and rebooting the app but, as far as troubleshooting goes, that's as creative as I get.
