Using the combination of Android theme and Dark mode preference results to both the names of the conference to choose and its background being dark making it hard for a user to realize which conference he/she is choosing.

Suggestion to correct this:
Make the content(names of conferences) in Choose Conference to be of a brighter color(White) while the background remains dark/black.
